MANILA, Philippines – Alexa Gray and Kiera van Rijk beat Belgium 25-22, 25-21, 22-25, 25-22 in their first win of the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) Week 2 at Smart on Thursday to impress Canada at the Arneta Coliseum. .

Gray has amassed 24 points, including game-winning hits, while Van Ryke has amassed 22 points and 11 digs as the Canadians improved to a 3-3 record with their first win in the Queens City League.

Canada will take on world number three China on Friday at 3pm, and Belgium will take on Poland at 3pm on Saturday.
