At the Manila, Philippines-Adamson Mall of Asia Arena, the UAAP pulled the tide from the bottom of La Salle, 25-23, 17-25, 25-16, 26-24, on Thursday to stay on course for the final four of season 84 women’s volleyball.

Lady Falcon setter Luis Romero tossed 24 excellent sets that put their Gunners on points and helped secure their eighth win in 14 games in the top four of the standings.

But they will have to wait for admission until Atenio takes over the Philippine University later Thursday.

Winning a Blue Eagles will force a playoff. Otherwise, the Lady Falcons make the next round straight.

Lucille May gave Adamson a match point in Almont, 24-23, but La Salle equalized with a kill-block. Trish Genesis again put the Lady Falcons on the threshold and then saw the Lady Spykers make offensive errors.

The Lady Spikers cut their five-game winning streak to a 10-4 record.
