The rock ‘n’ roll runs in Manila on 19 June

The World City of Intramuros and the National Museum will be highlighted as the backdrop for a sporting event for the first time on June 19 when the Asics Rock ā€œnā€ Roll Running Series will be flagged off. Thousands have already signed up in four categories.

Trophies will be created for the 42K, 21K, 10K and 5K events before a concert party is held in the evening, which makes the event unique.

Participants will be treated to music as they walk the streets of Manila, which will celebrate its 450th founding anniversary.

Several slots are still open, including P950 for 5K, P1,850 for 10K, P2,450 for half-marathon and P2,650 for 42K running. For the Remix Challenge, P3,600 for Marathon 5K, P4,100 for Marathon 10K, P3,800 for Half-Marathon 5K and P3,400 for Half-Marathon 10K.

The ongoing series will also run through Manila City Hall, Katipunan Cartel, Jones Bridge and Binodor Chinatown.
