The Philippines won more medals as the Hanoi SEA Games approached

MANILA, Philippines ফিল The Philippines has won more medals on the final day of competition at the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.

In Muay, Philippe Delarmino clinched the silver medal in the men’s 57kg event after losing 2-1 to Vietnam’s Duan Long Nguyen.

In the men’s trap shooting, Hagen Alexander Topasio and Carlos Carag won silver and bronze medals, respectively, while Diap Nguyen Huang won gold.

In mixed judo, Casey Nakano, John Vernon Ferrer, Carl Dave Esseneta, Rena Furukawa, Dilwin Keith Gimena, Megumi Kurayoshi got bronze.

The Philippines also won bronze in the women’s 60 kg, courtesy of Vovinam, courtesy of Zephania Nagaya.

Filipino boxers Rosen Ladon, Ian Clark Bautista and Yumi Marshall have won the last three gold medals in the country, where the Gilas Philippines, far from its 14th consecutive gold, has suffered a major setback in men’s basketball before.

According to the posting, the Philippines will finish fourth in the medal tally with 50 gold, 69 silver and 93 bronze medals – far from achieving its 149-gold mark when hosting the Biniel Meet in 2019.

Vietnam is the runaway winner with 197 golds, followed by Thailand with 86 and Indonesia with 64 golds, highlighted by its first basketball title.
