BARCELONA, Spain – Formula One driver Sebastian Vettel was spotted in Barcelona on Monday trying to track down his bag thieves but was only able to recover the ear pods he followed.

A spokesman for the Aston Martin team said the bag had been stolen from Germany after competing in the Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday.

“He tried to find it using his iPhone to track the earphones in his bag, but when he found his earphones he found them abandoned and so was unable to identify his stolen bag,” he said.

No casualties were reported.

Spanish media reported that the incident happened around 0800 local time when Vettel left the bag unattended in an unlocked car for the moment.
