Manila, Philippines–The Philippine wrestling team won a silver and three bronze medals in the men’s Greco-Roman competition at the 31st Southeast Asian Games at the Gia Lam Gymnasium in Vietnam on Tuesday.
Jefferson Manatad won the silver medal in the men’s Greco Roman 87-kg class, beating Cambodia’s Sofak Keo 8-2 in the final round 3.
In the first round of the qualifying, Vietnam lost 2-12 to Hugh Enghiem on the day and regained the mantad from a slow start. He bounced back with an 8-0 win over Chiranuwat Chamanjanjan of Thailand in Round 2.

Meanwhile, Noel Norada, Margarito Angana Jr. and Jason Balabal have won bronze medals in their respective categories.
Norada lost 0-8 to Vietnam gold medalist Manah Hung Bui in the 67kg final round 3
Balabal defeated Cambodia’s Sao Don 8-0 in the 97kg final round 3.
Angana defeated Cambodian Bunna Ion 8-0 in the final round of 60 kg.
