MANILA, Philippines – Carlo Biado returns to 9-3 after winning the men’s 10-ball singles gold medal at the 31st Southeast Asian Games on Saturday at Ha Dong Gymnasium in Vietnam.
Biado won an All-Filipino final rematch this time, three days after Chua won the 9-ball gold at the expense of the US Open champion.
At 8-3, Chua missed a sorry for a ball that put Biado on an easy table on his way to his third overall SEA Games gold medal. She won 9-ball singles gold in Malaysia in 2017 and 9-ball doubles gold in Singapore in 2015.
Biador’s victory in the 2019 Games in Manila with the win over Dennis Orcolo holds the 10-ball crown in the Philippines.
Earlier, Rubilen Amit outperformed Chezka Senteno in the women’s 10-ball singles match at another All-Filipino title showdown.
Amit also won gold in the women’s 9-ball singles division.
