SEA Games: Filipino pair traps gold in Muay Thai

MANILA, Philippines – Isle Erica Bomogao and Richein Yosorage won their first gold medals for the Philippine Muay Thai team at the 31st Southeast Asian Games Women’s Y Crew and My Event at the Vin Fook Gymnasium in Vietnam on Monday.

Bomogao and Yosorage scored 8.68 to manage the event, losing to Vietnam and Thailand.

The pair defeated their hometown bets Thi Diem Trang Pham and Thi Beach Liu Pham, who settled for runners-up with a score of 8.56.

Mawdi Hitnu and Thanwan Thangduang of Thailand won bronze with 8.35 points respectively.

The Philippines is in second place in 2019, with Iradine Lipatan and Rusha Mae Biaxan being smaller than Thailand.
