Recruiting Rumor Mill: As summer approaches, the chat gets heated

News and rumors never stop between recruits and rival national recruitment directors Adam Gorny Recruiting Rumor Mill has more to offer this week:

Opelica, Ala. The defensive end of 2024 is only seeing his recruitment begin, but Clemson, LSU and Auburn are the three programs that have caught his eye so far. He lives just down the street from Auburn so it’s going to be something to look forward to and then two Tigers teams with Georgia, Georgia Tech, Louisville and Michigan applied to him at the beginning of his offer list.

Sacramento, Calif. Recruitment for the 2025 athlete is just beginning, but so far Oregon and Texas A&M are the two teams with the most recruits. Arizona, Cal, Washington and others have also offered and many more are showing interest but the ducks and aegis have jumped out quickly.

The West Hills (Calif.) Champion three-star linebacker has made quick offers this offseason, but four more stand out than the others – Oregon State, Cal, Washington State and Fresno State. Things could be clearer in the coming weeks as Chisham plans to move its officials to Corvalis and Berkeley in June.

Georgia, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina and Oklahoma have made it into the top five for the top four-star defensive end from Gardendale, Ala, and it is believed that Crimson Tide could be the front line for its services. Collins grew up being an Alabama fan, with many families who loved the program and his relationship with it. Freddie Roach Strong but two visits in June could make things even more interesting as Collins travels to South Carolina on June 10 and then to Georgia on June 24.

The Gators have not yet made an offer but the coaching staff tells him they love his film and personality and that an offer may come soon. If so, Florida could emerge as a losing team.

An initial Rutgers promise that lasted about a month, the three-star Georgia, Louisville, Oregon, Penn State and Oklahoma returning from Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Dillard are currently on standout school, although Michigan has offered exactly the same. The three star is leaving for Tennessee on June 11 and he will be moving to Louisville in two weeks.

Nitani may have a loan from the Lions but those new employees at Virginia Tech are appealing to her – especially since she is a coach.
