QB Dominoes: How Holstein’s Promises Affect Others

A big chunk of the quarterback puzzle came off the board on Tuesday when four-star Eli Holstein pledged to Alabama.

Zachary, La., Standout, who had a huge junior season both through the air and on the ground, leaned towards Crimson Tide for a while although Florida made it a little more interesting towards the end with LSU and others.

But after multiple visits to Tuscaloosa, it seemed that Holstein arrived on Tuesday before and after his decision.

Below, we look at the quarterbacks Holstein’s decision could have a domino effect on starting with the country’s number one player.

New Orleans (LA) Isidore Newman’s five-star quarterback has traveled to Alabama, Georgia and Texas with the three official tours scheduled for June. We’re still trying to figure out if Manning will take his trip to Tuscaloosa, but it should come as no surprise that his main focus now is on the Longhorns and the Bulldogs.

It may already be. One line of concern is that Alabama was happy to accept Holstein’s promise not only because he was incredibly talented and not suited to the Crimson Tide offense but also because the coaching staff felt it was behind Manning’s appointment.

Holstein’s decision could make things clearer. Alabama gets a talented four-star who has dual-threat ability and has won lots of games and now Manning can focus on two teams which he is basically focusing on anyway.

Some believe Georgia has an edge because Athens gives the five stars the college experience they are looking for and a shot to win the national title. Some believe Manning wants to be where Texas is because of his aggressive approach and his relationship with the position coach AJ Milwaukee And coaches Steve Circassian.

2024 quarterback

Holstein’s commitment to Alabama and Manning’s pending decision between Georgia and Texas will have a lasting impact on the top of the 2024 quarterback board.

Dylan Riola of Ohio State has people from Chandler, Ariz, so that means five star Jadin Davis is in a mix of Georgia, North Carolina, Florida State, Penn State, Tennessee and others. The most interesting thing to see here is the five-star Julian Sain of Carlsbad, Calif.

There have been rumors that Manning will go wherever he goes, Sign will go elsewhere. Manning in Georgia means the sign may lean towards Texas and vice versa. This is a smart, tactical move because what does it mean to sit behind manning and what comes with it?

It will be interesting to see that domino effect as Texas and Georgia try to manage through their 2024 quarterback boards. However, CJ is a curious reason for the former Michigan coach Lloyd CarrNotre Dame is also fighting there, so his grandson Wolverine is not a rock-cold lock.

QB Dante Moore’s decision in 2023 class – Notre Dame and LSU seem to be leading though Texas A&M is making an inspection and Michigan fascinated him last weekend – could go somewhere else at the top of 2024 class, especially if he ends up in the South Bend.

Holstein opened the first piece of the puzzle. Much more has to come with Manning and Moore’s decision, which will probably have a big impact down the line.
