The top five in Maryland, Penn State, Notre Dame, Michigan and Ohio State have emerged for the No. 1 defensive tackle in the 2023 class, and although he did not specify which school he is leading, the Irish seem to have an advantage.
From Marcus Freeman Underneath the coaching staff, Moore likes what he has seen in the South Bend, and others certainly have a chance.

Georgia, Florida, Ole Miss, Texas and LSU New Orleans (LA) are ahead for the St. Augustine standout but the Bulldogs and Rebels are different. After visiting both Athens and Oxford, Borda seemed to be most interested in those programs and they are both hiring him extensively as a decision is approaching. Either way, it looks like Borda is definitely stuck in the SEC.

An unofficial trip to Florida is taking place with an official trip to the state of Michigan and may be on the way to further travel. Suwanee (Ga.) Is watching a potential four-star Oklahoma trip from North Gwinnett that her mother wants to take her to Michigan and the NC state. But a recent offer from Clemson could be really big. If he camps at LSU this summer and does a really good job during that workout, then the Tigers could increase their interest in the New Orleans (LA) Warren Easton standout and this could be the place for him. But there are others involved, including Florida State and Mississippi State, so Buxton’s recruitment could still go a few different ways. LSU will be the spot if the new coaching staff gives him priority after the summer.

There are still a lot of directions for Green’s appointment, but Clemson’s recent tour has been really, really good, and could be a losing streak if the Tigers offer after seeing his replicas.
But many more, including Ohio State, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina and Virginia Tech, are giving a push. The Buckeyes could be a slipper here if Green is open to leaving the southeast but everything can depend on that Clemson offer, which should come sooner or later.

Kentucky is the far-right leader for Spencer, who is still working on his academics. The Wildcats have made him an early target and are not far behind the Louisville (Ky.) Men’s four-star.
Interestingly, if Spencer ends up at Lexington, he will almost certainly play an offensive line at the SEC. In recent months, the states of Alabama, Florida, Michigan, Louisville and others have shown interest, but Kentucky has lost.

Deal is another possibility for those who are reluctant to play on the defensive line but some schools prefer him for offense. That wouldn’t stop a school from taking shots at the Garland (Texas) Naman Forest standout, and Texas is the best prospect.
TCU, Georgia and others are involved but the Longhorns probably have the inside track to land him at the moment.
