MANILA, Philippines – Teraformer giant Isaac Go is expected to be away for a year after suffering tear in his right knee with ACL, MCL and Meniscus tears.

Go was injured in the first quarter of a 100-86 loss to Diep near the Northport Batang Pier at the Inares Center in Antipolo on Saturday.

The development was another blow to Terafirma, which failed to break after a string of injuries to its core cogs.

In addition to Go’s injury, guard Ed D’Queug also suffered a serious ankle injury in the same game and may have been out for a long time. Deep forward Eric Camson also lost after a bad first-quarter loss to Batang Peer.

Last December, veteran playmaker Alex Cabagont tore his left Achilles tendon which abruptly ended his season.

Teraformer coach Jonadel Cardell hopes to move on in the absence of his other greats, Joseph Gabbayani and Christian Balagas.

The emaciated DIP returned to action against Phoenix on Friday, aiming for their first win since starting the 2022 Philippine Cup 0-2.
