PBA: Phoenix bag first win, Terafirma defeated

MANILA, Philippines – Phoenix has finally entered the 2022 PBA Philippine Cup winning column after whipping Terafirma 97-74 at the Yanares Center in Antipolo City.

Jason Perkins led the way for the Fuel Masters with 17 points, nine rebounds and five assists, who improved to 1-2.

Matthew Wright pumped 11 points and 10 assists while Shawn Anthony smashed one point more than a double-double in his first game after the foot process. Newcomers Xavi Mokon and Rookie Enco Serrano also finished in twin figures.

Terafirma received the product from Joseph Gaboni, who placed 16 points off the bench. Aldrich Ramos added 14 and Andreas Cahillig 10 in a balanced scoring effort that still could not prevent Deep from their third defeat in many games.
