MANILA, Philippines – Blackwater claimed its second win in the 2022 PBA Philippine Cup after a 97-90 win over Northport at the Yanares Center in Antipolo City on Saturday night.
JV Casio re-enacted for Bossing, finishing with 22 points and five assists while Rookie Auto Uler added 17 points and five rebounds for the perennial whipping boys, who are now in the middle of the 2-1 record pack.
Robert Ballick turned 21 points and nine rebounds, while Jamie Malonjo chipped in for a 14-and-13 double-double batang pier who suffered their second consecutive loss and went down 2-2.
The win was huge for Blackwater, a club that won just one game last season. Bosing is now hoping to get a streak when he plays Terafirma on Saturday next week.
Northport, meanwhile, looks to block its slide with a 2-0 Meralco this coming Thursday.
