MANILA, Philippines – One-Stroweight champion Joshua Paceio defends his title against Jared Brooks in the main event on June 3, 158 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Team Lake coach Mark Sangia has also announced that Paceo’s fight against former UFC star Brooks has been postponed.
“The match between Joshua Pacio and Jared Brooks, originally scheduled for a Strawweight World title, has unfortunately been postponed due to a schedule conflict,” Sangia also posted on Facebook on Thursday.
The One Championship has not yet issued an official statement regarding the suspension of Pace’s title defense.
Pacio won his last four fights, including a first-round technical knockout, against fifth-ranked Yosuke Saruta of Japan last September.
Brooks, who competed in the One Championship in October last year, dominated his first three fights, submitting to Team Lake’s Lito Adiwang in Round 2 during his debut in November 2021, then defeating Hiroba Minowa by a unanimous decision against former top-ranked Stroywet Boca.
