NBA: Heat’s PJ Tucker is out of Game 2 with a bruised knee

Hit forward PJ Tucker has been ruled out of the Miami Eastern Conference final against Boston Celtics in the third quarter on Thursday due to a left knee injury.

The Hit announced shortly after that the 37-year-old veteran would not return to Game 2, one of the best of the seven series.

Tucker had five points and four rebounds in 22 minutes before leaving.

Tucker contributed five points and six rebounds in 31 minutes during Miami’s 118-107 win in Game 1 on Tuesday.

Miami has played without point guard Kyle Lori (left hamstring strain) for the eighth time in the last 10 games.
