SAN FRANCISCO – U.S. President Joe Biden on Friday greeted the Golden State Warriors after their fourth NBA Championship win in eight years and said he looks forward to welcoming them to the White House.
“Congratulations to Golden State @ Warriors for another NBA title and Final MVP ্টি Stephenkari30. [Stephen Curry] For another legendary performance, “Biden tweeted.
“Concrete. Heart. Power in numbers. It’s America,” he said. “See you at the White House.”

The Warriors won the series 4-2 against the Boston Celtics in the best-seven final on Thursday thanks to Curry’s spectacular shooting and the team’s relentless defense.
The Warriors did not visit the White House during the Trump administration after the 2017 victory, nor did any NBA team visit during the remainder of the former president’s term.
Criticism of former President Donald Trump’s policing, policy of racial justice, and the Black Lives Matter movement has left him at odds with many in the league.
The NBA’s five-year break came to an end when Biden hosted the Milwaukee Box in November last year to celebrate their championship.
Biden, a recognized sports fan, has also hosted professional baseball, hockey and football teams at the White House.
