Manila, Philippines কি Despite losing a gold medal, Kifar Ravenna is grateful to represent the Philippines at the Southeast Asian Games again.
Ravenna held her head high even after the tragic 85-81 defeat of Gilas Pilipinas against Indonesia on Saturday at the Thanh Tri Stadium in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The Philippines has denied that there should have been a 14th consecutive gold medal in men’s basketball.
“Thank you for the competition, the relationship and the memory of SEA Games! It’s hard to lose 13 straight and I’m proud of my team! Sorry we [fell] Short # 5and1 #OneForTheRoad, ”Ravenna tweeted.
Ravenna also fell short of claiming gold for her sixth SEA Games.
Indonesia, on the other hand, celebrated its first basketball gold at the biennial meeting.
