Ironman 70.3 Marks returns to Cebu with new bike route

Ironman 70.3 When the Philippines returns to Cebu in an epidemic, more than 1,500 bets will be taken, using a new bike route that will take triathletes along the country’s longest and longest bridge.

McTan’s race, which will take place on August 7, will face the superstructure and iconic Visayas landmark known as the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX) for the event’s 90.1-kilometer bike leg.

CCLEX is an engineering marvel that began work last month. It is a wide 8.9-km stretch of road that rises 52 meters above the Mactan Channel that connects Cebu City and the municipality of C্ডrdoba.

“Ironman 70.3 makes it doubly exciting that the new bike route will provide a new experience not only for triathletes, but also for Cebuano and local and foreign tourists,” said Fred Waitensu, Ironman’s brand ambassador.

A total of two editions of Cebu have been canceled due to the epidemic, and the host city has confirmed that it will put a premium on the protection of all participants in the healthcare system.
