MANILA, Philippines পর After losing the Southeast Asian Games, Gilas will not have much time to think about the upcoming big tournament in front of the Philippines.

The Philippines will compete in the FIBA World Cup Asian qualifiers in Auckland, New Zealand, and the third window of the 2022 FIBA Asia Cup in Jakarta, Indonesia in July.

Giles is scheduled to meet with his South Korean counterparts in Aniang, South Korea, in less than a month.

“From June 17 to 18, we will play an assessment match against the Philippine national team at the Aniyang Gymnasium. “I think we should check the physical condition of our players from the 30th,” South Korea head coach Chu Il-seong said in a report on the Korean news site Jumpball.

Giles could have paraded a different look until then, especially with his participation in the SEA Games campaign where it failed to win gold after a surprise 85-81 defeat to Indonesia.

The PBA is also set to close its 47th season on June 5, which has been complicated by the likes of June Mar Fazardo and Matthew Wright.
