Manila, Philippine-pool legend Efren “Bata” Reyes and current US Open champion Carlo Beado have withdrawn from the Brentwood Pool World Cup in England.

According to organizers, Reyes and Beado were “forced to withdraw due to travel problems.”

Thailand’s Thepchaiya Un-Nuh and Nappan Senkham replaced the Filipino pair at the event.

The Philippines was the opening winner of the nine-ball tournament in 2006, led by Reyes and Django Bustamante.

Reiss and Bustamante won again in 2009.

The Philippines last won the tournament in 2013 when Dennis Orcolo and Lee Van Corteza represented.
