Cycling Ready National Roads Championship

Another sporting event is her return from an epidemic absence.

The Philcycling National Championship for Road is back after a two-year hiatus. The country’s top riders will gather in Tagai City from June 21 to 24.

Abraham “Bumble” Talentino, president of the Philippine Olympic Committee and head of Philcycling, said: “With the easing of the epidemic, it is time to get the national championships back on track.” “We dropped the race in 2020 due to the Covid-19 epidemic, and last year, we could only conduct national trials in Clark’s strictly controlled environment.”

The national championships will have criteria for street races, individual time trials and men’s and women’s elite, under-23, junior (16-17) and youth (under-16).

Online registration is going on through Phil Cycling Facebook page.

Although not everyone will be given a place as national championships will be strictly screened, only riders who have a chance to join the national team will be accepted. The final list of participants will be announced on June 17.
