MANILA, Philippines – John Real Casimero believes he is still the best fighter in the bantamweight division.

The former WBO bantamweight champion called Japanese Nawa Inoue in a video posted on his Facebook page on Thursday.

“Yes, you will be undisputed. But you will not be the strongest in that division,” said Casimero.

[Yes, you may be the undisputed (champion), but you are not the strongest in this division. Do you know who is the strongest in the bantamweight division? No one else but Quadro Alas.]

Two days ago, Casimero promised Innova to avenge the loss of Nanito Donier.

Inoue remained undefeated, losing to Donier via a technical knockout in the second round last Tuesday in Saitama, Japan to combine the WBC, WBA and IBF bantamweight titles.

Casimero and Inoi were due to face each other in April 2020, but this was canceled by the COVID-19 epidemic.

Casimero warned the Japanese boxer to identify with his words.

“Mark my words, Inui. See you soon, ”he said.

Casimero had earlier been stripped of a title by the WBO after he violated the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) for using gold to lose weight before his mandatory defense against Butler in Liverpool, England.
