MANILA, Philippines – In the third round of their bantamweight bout on Sunday (Manila time) at the Marvel Stadium in Australia, TKO lost to hometown Jason Moloney in Aston Pallike.

The referee was knocked out twice in the third round at the palette before closing the match with 2:35 left in the round.

Moloney won his third straight fight in front of the home crowd, improving his record to 24-2 in 19 knockouts.

Palicat had an impressive opening round landing uppercut in Moloney. But the latter picks up speed in the last minute of the first round and improves the exchange in the second round.

The Filipino boxer has seen his three-game winning streak snatched by the Aussies, dropping 28-5-1 in 23 knockouts.
