MANILA, Philippines: Akari Lighting and Technology Corporation has become the tenth team to join the country’s only professional volleyball league, the Premier Volleyball League.

The addition comes three years after he first joined the PVL three years ago while backing Adamson during the 2019 Collegiate Conference.

Ricky Palo, President of Sports Vision, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Aakari to our PVL family. “They’ve been in volleyball for so long and it’s nice to see them go into professional positions.”

“We are excited to join PVL. For Akari, it looks like we graduated from college as we are entering among the professionals, ”said Akari Sports Director Russell Balbakal. “Over the years, we have been supporting grassroots and collegiate parties. We think it’s time to dump her and move on. “

Akari has been on the local sports scene since 2016 when it supported Pep Squad in addition to Adamson’s men’s basketball program and women’s volleyball squad.

Mozi Ravenna has been tapped as the size team manager and will help build the squad.

“We’re excited because this will be a huge boost for our brand and will really help our marketing campaign,” Balbakal said.
